Misty Marot is the CEO and President of Novel Engineering, Inc. As such, she oversees strategy, operations, culture, HR, finance, and policy. Misty believes in a “people first” approach to owning and operating a business and this value is woven into every aspect of her company. She finds great purpose in supporting the technical industry with the highly qualified Novel team to ensure customers reach their goals.

Misty has her sights set on reaching a more diversified customer base as well as impactfully supporting this community that has always supported Novel. Viewing Novel as a trusted partner and qualified on demand team both within the company and as a customer, is the ultimate measurement of success according to Misty. Genuine interaction and clear communication, the secret sauce to growing and maintaining customer relationships, enable customer tailored experiences critical to their success.

Through this endeavor and the Novel team’s talent and dedication, Novel has received several awards since its inception. Recognition for Novel’s successes has been with regard to varying topics, including but not limited to: innovation, leadership, early-stage growth, product design competition, and community involvement.

Misty’s all-time favorite thing to do is to spend time with her two children. She thrives on the Novel team successes and witnessing them reach challenging goals. She loves learning, is a Florida Tech alumnus, and will likely be a lifetime Florida Tech student.
If she ever experiences any free time in a fictitious future, she will likely choose surfing, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and drinking coffee.

Marilyn Stanley has been the V.P. of Engineering for Novel since October of 2017. Prior to that she spent 18+ years working for GE Transportation (now Wabtec) based in Melbourne Florida in multiple roles including Director of Software, System Test Department Manager, Master Black Belt, and Engineering Project Manager.
As a leader of projects and teams at GE Transportation, Marilyn relied on Novel Engineering (aka Riverside Technical Services) to provide engineering resources that were critical to meeting project deadlines including Dev/Ops, Software Test, Test Automation and Data Modeling services.
Her insight into the needs and constraints of engineering managers and team leaders at Wabtec, a strategic customer for Novel, ensures alignment of skills and best-fit of talent which drives customer success and eases the workload for busy engineering managers. Marilyn’s hobbies include scuba diving, kayaking, and gardening, Marilyn is also active in the special needs community.
